It is a mini pouch at 20mg from the Ghost line, the top step of the brand, and it comes out of the Polish factory that Luna Corporate runs for the whole 77 range. The maker's catalogue lists Original beside Bubble Gum, Cola Ice, Mango and the rest of the Ghost cans, and it is the one with no fruit, no cola and no sweet shop in it. Here's the thing. It is a clean mint, kept simple, at the biggest number 77 makes. Nothing extra on the lid, nothing extra in the can.
A clean mint with nothing riding on it
Pop one in and the mint is cool and tidy rather than sharp, like the plain white mints by the pub till with the sugar taken out. There is no fruit behind it and no extra chill piled on top, so the mint has the whole pouch to itself. The flavour sits low and even, with a faint sweetness that keeps it smooth, and it holds steady through the load so the last pouch tastes like the first. The mini pouch keeps it tucked away under the lip. The finish is clean and quiet. No messing about.
