Open the maker's catalogue at the VB Mini page and Arctic Mint is the can out front. It is the cold, clean mint of 77's special edition at the edition's top strength, 20mg in a mini pouch, with VB Mini Edition on the lid and all five strength dots filled in. The edition is the one 77's maker, Luna Corporate, says it built alongside Valtteri Bottas, the motorsport star from Finland, through a partnership it puts at 2023, and like every 77 can it is produced at the maker's own factory in Poland. No fruit, no sweet shop, no second flavour. Cold mint, small pouch, big number.
Cold, clean and steady through the whole load
The first pouch is sharp and bright, like the first breath of air on the platform on a frosty morning. The cool spreads quickly across the gum and settles into a clean, steady chill that holds for the whole load. It is a crisp mint rather than a sweet one, with enough smoothness underneath that the edge never scratches. The mini pouch keeps it close and quiet, and the flavour does not drift.
