Havens Sweet Mint 32.5mg, the Red Line mint in black
Here's the thing about Havens Sweet Mint 32.5mg: it is a soft, sweet mint wearing the biggest number the brand makes. Havens is a small British label, set up by the person who founded the online pouch shop Snus Haven, and the whole range is two flavours in two strengths, four cans, all four on the Snus Life shelf. This is the Sweet Mint from the Red Line, which is the 32.5mg line, and it comes in the black can with the small RED tag, HAVEN'S in capitals across the lid and an archer drawing a bow underneath. The edge of the lid reads 50mg STRONG, and that 50 is milligrams per gram of pouch rather than what one pouch holds. Each pouch carries 32.5mg, the shop's figure, and that is the one to go by.
Rounded mint with a sweet note, pouch after pouch in the black can
Pop one in and the mint arrives cool and smooth, with the sweetness right there beside it from the off. It is the mint of a soft mint humbug rather than a gust of cold air, rounded and easy on the gum. The cooling holds steady, the sweet note keeps it from turning sharp, and the finish is clean with a little sweetness left behind. The twentieth pouch tastes like the first. Proper rounded mint, and a strong one. Fair play to it.
32.5mg a pouch, the Red Line's number, with 13mg beneath it
Each pouch carries 32.5mg of nicotine, which puts it in our extreme band, 25mg and up. The Havens ladder is two rungs and this is the top: the Blue Line at 13mg, where Sweet Mint comes in a white can, and the Red Line here at 32.5mg. The pouches are slim and white, 20 to a can. Uptake is quick and the curve rises early, the way it does at this end of the scale. No messing about. A sweet mint with the biggest number on the Havens shelf.

Mint people at the top of the scale, and the white can below
This is the can for the snus user who sits in the extreme band and picks mint, but likes the mint sweet and rounded. If your usual is a strong mint from another brand, this one brings the cooling with a sweeter edge and a 32.5mg number behind it. Fancy the same mint at a medium strength? Havens Sweet Mint 13mg is the Blue Line version in the white can. Want to stay on the Red Line but swap mint for fruit? Havens Grape Cola 32.5mg is the other black can. Give it a go.
