Mr Blue at 60, and what the name is keeping quiet
The name on this one tells you nothing, which is half the fun of it. Mr Blue is Maggie's berry can, blueberry leading and raspberry close behind, and this is the 60 version, where the lid reads Maggie with no Lite tag beside it. It is the bigger of the brand's two lines, the other being Maggie Lite at 16mg, with the same seven flavours on each. The can is the Maggie yellow with the red rim and the green palm tree, Original Jamaican Pouch written under the name. Here's the thing. It is not a mint and it is not a blue raspberry. It is a dark berry blend wearing a nickname.
Blueberry first, raspberry behind, no mint anywhere
First pouch in and it is blueberry, the ripe sort, sweet and a little jammy, like the dark juice at the bottom of a punnet. Raspberry comes in behind it with a touch more sharpness, and the two settle into one dark berry flavour rather than taking turns.
