Nordic Spirit Mint 9mg is menthol and peppermint together, from a JTI brand created in Sweden, launched there in 2018, in the UK since 2019, with the pouches now produced in Poland. The maker calls 9mg Strong, so the lid reads Mint Strong while our title keeps the number. It sits on the Dry side of the range, the maker's label for its drier pouch with a bold flavour release, made from plant based fibre and gum base. Here's the thing. There is no trick to it. Menthol, peppermint, 9mg, done.
Menthol cool, peppermint crisp, nothing else in the way
Pop one in and the menthol goes first, that clean cold that opens the nose, like stepping out of the chippy into a January evening. The peppermint follows right behind it, crisp and a touch sweeter, and gives the cold something to hold on to.
