Nordic Spirit Mint 11mg, menthol and peppermint on the Dry side
Mint was one of the two flavours Nordic Spirit arrived in the UK with in 2019, and the 11mg version is the one that gets asked for by name. The brand is JTI's, it began in Sweden in 2018, and the pouches these days are produced in Poland. Mint is one of the brand's two Dry cans, which is the word printed on the pack, and it runs refreshing menthol and crisp peppermint together. This is the 11mg version, sold as X-Strong on the can, and the lid carries the biggest number the brand puts on our shelf. A soft white pouch, tobacco free, and no messing about with the flavour.
Menthol and peppermint, crisp from the first pouch to the last
The peppermint lands first, crisp and clean, and the menthol comes in right behind it with the kind of cool you get from the mints at the end of a long Sunday lunch. The Dry range has a drier feel, and the maker says that gives a bold flavour release, so the mint is at full volume almost as soon as the pouch is in. The pouch itself is a soft white one made from plant based fibre and gum base. The menthol holds the cool steady across the load and the peppermint keeps it bright, with no sweet layer on top. It finishes fresh and clean. Fair play to it.

Each pouch carries 11mg of nicotine, which puts it in our medium band, 8mg to 16mg, and on the top rung of the three Nordic Spirit sells here, 6mg, 9mg and 11mg. Mint comes at all three, so this is the strongest Mint on the shelf, with Mint 9mg below it and Mint 6mg at the bottom. Dry cans have a bit of pace to the uptake and this one is no exception, with the curve settling in early. Slim white pouches, 20 to a can, with a space in the lid for the used ones. The lid shows the strength as dots beside the mg figure, so the three Mint cans are easy to tell apart.
