Raspberry Blast with Snowman's bigger number
Raspberry Blast 12mg is the sweet berry can at the top of the Snowman range. The brand belongs to Tridots, and the pouches, in the brand's own words, are manufactured in Denmark. The shelf runs two lines, a 9mg Line and a 12mg Line, with the same six flavours on each, and this is the raspberry on the upper line. Sweet fruit, no mint, more behind it. That is the brief, and it sticks to it.
Bold raspberry, sweet with a tang, nothing cold
It opens on ripe raspberry, the sort you get from a punnet at the farm shop in August, sweet first with the tang arriving a beat later. There is no cooling underneath and no mint, so the berry fills the whole load on its own. The catalogue calls the 12mg can a bold raspberry with sweet berry intensity and a lively profile, and that is the shape of it: fuller than the 9mg, same fruit, more presence. The sweetness holds to the end and the tang keeps it lively. Proper berry.
12mg a pouch, and the 9mg raspberry below it
Every pouch carries 12mg of nicotine, which puts it in the upper half of our medium band, 8mg to 16mg. It is the higher of Snowman's two lines, and the lid marks it with four of five dots. The rung below is Raspberry Blast 9mg, the same berry in the 9mg Line, and the ladder stops here. Slim white pouches, tobacco free, 20 to a can. A touch more behind the uptake than the 9mg can, with the same even curve. Medium snus, sweet fruit, firmer hand.

For the berry regular ready for the top rung
Raspberry Blast 12mg is for anyone who likes sweet fruit snus and wants Snowman's fuller number, and for anyone on Raspberry Blast 9mg who has found the lower can a little light. Want a sweet fruit with a cool edge at this strength? The catalogue lists Watermelon Breeze 12mg on the same line. For a fruit mix instead, Tropical Punch 12mg brings pineapple and mango, and Citrus Boost 12mg is the sharp one. Give it a go.
