The flavour is blackcurrant, full and sweet, with the deep tang you get from the neat cordial before the water goes in. It arrives straight away, fills the load with rich berry, and holds that depth right through to the end of the pouch. The Black line brings a dark undertone to all its flavours, and on blackcurrant it sits so naturally you would think it was part of the fruit. The finish is long and sweet with a tart lift at the very end. Proper blackcurrant. Fair play to it.
