Snowman's raspberry, on the 9mg rung
Raspberry Blast is the sweet one on the Snowman shelf, the can with the dark red lid and green lettering. Tridots is the company behind Snowman, and the pouches are, in the brand's own words, manufactured in Denmark. The range runs two lines, 9mg and 12mg, each carrying the same six flavours, and this is the raspberry at 9mg, the lower of the pair. No mint in it, no frost, just the fruit. On a shelf named after a snowman, that makes it the warm one.
Sweet, tangy raspberry with nothing cold behind it
Pop one in and it is raspberry from the off, the jammy sort you get on a scone at a garden centre cafe, sweet first with a tang that follows. There is no mint under it and no cooling, which is unusual for this shelf, so the fruit gets the whole stage. The sweetness stays even through the load and the tang keeps it from going flat. The catalogue describes the 9mg can as the lighter, easy going raspberry, and the finish is smooth. Proper fruit, no frost.
9mg a pouch, and the 12mg raspberry above it
Every pouch carries 9mg of nicotine, which puts it in our medium band, 8mg to 16mg. Snowman has two lines and this is the lower one, with three of five dots filled on the lid and the word MEDIUM beneath them. The next rung up is Raspberry Blast 12mg, the same fruit in the 12mg Line, and the ladder ends there. Slim white pouches, tobacco free, 20 to a can. A gentle uptake and an even curve, which lets a sweet flavour sit comfortably. Medium snus, fruit forward.

The sweet tooth's Snowman
This is the Snowman for anyone who wants fruit and wants it sweet, at a number that does not shout. New to snus and drawn to berry flavours? 9mg is a kind place to begin. If the raspberry is right and you want more behind it, Raspberry Blast 12mg is the same can one step up. Prefer your fruit with a cool finish? Watermelon Breeze 9mg has a light breeze on it, and Tropical Punch 9mg mixes pineapple and mango at the same strength. Give it a go.
