Fizzy Energy, SNU's energy drink can, at Xtra High
Everyone has a tall can they grab at the garage on a long drive, and SNU made it a flavour. SNU Fizzy Energy 45mg is the energy drink can from the brand's Xtra High line, the top of its four strengths, and the newest flavour SNU has added to its shelf. It comes in a white can, blue band, red lettering on the name. The lid is the giveaway. This one reads 60MG PER GRAM in the tab, six dots all filled and an X after them, XTRA HIGH underneath, and a red stamp that reads XTRA STRONG USE RESPONSIBLY. No 45 anywhere. The brand prints its strength per gram, and that per gram figure is 45mg in each pouch, which is the number on our shelf. Energy is the flavour's name, not a promise.
The tall can taste, sharp and sweet, all the way down
Crack the lid and the first thing out is that sweet and sour tang of a fresh energy drink, the one you get the second the ring pull goes. It is sharp first, sweet right behind, with a bright sparkling edge that stays on the gum rather than fading. Anyone on the 9mg or the 18mg knows this taste. SNU keeps the flavour the same at every rung and changes only the number. The finish is tangy and clean, and the twentieth pouch tastes like the first. No messing about. It is the drink, minus the bubbles, with 45mg underneath.
45mg of nicotine, the top of SNU's ladder, in energy drink
Every pouch carries 45mg of nicotine, which is extreme on our scale, the band that starts at 25mg and has no ceiling. It is the top number SNU makes by a long way. The ladder goes 9mg, which the brand calls Low, then 12mg Medium, 18mg High, and this Xtra High line at 45mg, so the last step is more than double the one before it. Fizzy Energy is one of five flavours that make it this far, with Cherry Cola, Wild Cherry, Tropical Punch and Black Ice. The pouches are slim and you get 20 in the can. Fast uptake, a steep curve, and a load that keeps going.

Energy drink regulars at the top number, and the fizzy can below it
This is the can for the SNU regular who has been on Fizzy Energy 18mg and wants the same drink at the top of the ladder. It also suits extreme snus users who have had enough mint for one week and fancy something with fizz. If 45mg is a bigger step than you were after, SNU Fizzy Energy 18mg is the same taste one rung down, and it is where plenty of people stay. Want another soft drink at this number? SNU Cherry Cola 45mg is beside it on the shelf, and SNU Tropical Punch 45mg is the fruit option. Give it a go.
