Wild Cherry at 18mg, SNU's straight cherry with all six dots
Wild Cherry is the SNU for people who want cherry and nothing but, and this is the High can, 18mg a pouch, the third of the brand's four strengths. No cola, no second fruit, no mint. The brand calls it bold and juicy with a rich cherry flavour and a little extra edge, which is a fair summary. The lid runs the SNU pattern: SNÜ with its two dots, WILD CHERRY in capitals, a tab marked 18MG PER POUCH, six filled dots and HIGH under them, and up top the scented patch, rub here to smell the flavour. Here's the thing. It is the cherry from the sweet counter, grown up, with a strong number behind it. No messing about.
Rich sweet cherry with a sharp little edge, pouch after pouch
The cherry comes in rich and sweet, the dark glace sort from the top of a Bakewell rather than the pale fresh ones, and it is smooth from the off. Then a lightly tart edge shows up at the back and gives it some bite, so it never slips into plain sugar. That edge is what makes it Wild rather than just Cherry. The flavour holds its level through the whole load, no fade in the middle, and it finishes sweet with a faint sharpness left on the gum. Pouch twenty is as rich as pouch one. Fair play to it.
18mg a pouch, with a 45mg Wild Cherry above it
Every pouch carries 18mg of nicotine, which is our strong band, the one from 16mg to 25mg. On SNU's four rung ladder it is the third step: 9mg Low, 12mg Medium, 18mg High, then 45mg Xtra High, and Wild Cherry is on our shelf at all four. Slim pouches, 20 in a can, the same size whichever number you pick. Strong snus, one fruit, a bit of bite.

Cherry people moving past 12mg, and the top can
This is for anyone who likes a single fruit with some edge to it and wants the full SNU number behind it. If you have been on SNU Wild Cherry 12mg and want the same cherry with more in the pouch, this is the next rung, same taste, bigger number. It also suits strong snus users coming across from mint who want a fruit with some bite. Want the top? SNU Wild Cherry 45mg is the Xtra High can in the same flavour. Want the cherry with cola behind it at this number? SNU Cherry Cola 18mg is beside it. Give it a go.
