Cold Dry by the Mega Can, at the gentler end
Some regulars buy a can at a time. Some buy the Mega Can. This is the second lot's version of Greatest Cold Dry, the signature mint from a Nordic brand out of Finland, packed as 200 pouches at 8mg rather than the usual 20. Greatest is a brand of Premium Pouch Finland Oy, a Helsinki company, and Cold Dry is the flavour the whole range is built around. Here's the thing. The mint is the same one you get in the standard 20 pouch can. The only change is the size of the tub you carry home.
Cold Dry's mint, cool and clear from first to last
Cold Dry is a cold, fresh mint and nothing else, the way a glass from the cold tap is just water. There is no fruit behind it and no sweet shop top note, so what you get at the first pouch is what you get at the two hundredth. The cooling comes on straight away, settles into something clean and steady, and finishes the same way it started. No messing about. It is the mint that defines Greatest, and the maker calls it the heart of the brand, which tells you how much they lean on it.
8mg a pouch, the bottom rung of our Greatest ladder
Each pouch carries 8mg of nicotine, which puts the Mega Can at the very start of our medium band, the one that runs from 8mg to 16mg. On the Greatest ladder as we stock it, it shares the bottom rung with the standard Cold Dry 8mg can. One step up sit the 10mg pair, Frosty Rage and Rage Lemonade, and the top rung is 16mg, where Cold Dry 16mg, Cold Dry XL 16mg and the Mega Can 16mg live. The uptake is gentle and the curve is a slow one, so it suits a measured sort of snus day. The pouches are tobacco free, and there are 200 of them in a Mega Can.

Who keeps a Mega Can on the side
This is the can for the Greatest regular who already knows Cold Dry is their mint and has stopped buying it one tin at a time. It also suits anyone coming to snus from a lighter number who wants a mint they can settle into, because 8mg is the lightest Greatest we stock. If you would rather try before you commit to 200, Greatest Cold Dry 8mg is the same mint in a 20 pouch can. And if the mint is right but you want more behind it, the Greatest Mega Can 16mg is the same idea with twice the number. Give it a go.
