Watermelon and mint is a familiar pairing in snus, and Iceberg Ultra Watermelon Mint Gum does it the chewing gum way, juicy fruit with a cool gum style mint rather than a sharp menthol. Pop one in and the watermelon is first, sweet and juicy, the flavour of the watermelon slice from the pick and mix rather than the fruit on a summer plate. The mint arrives behind it, cool and soft, the kind you get from a stick of mint chewing gum rather than a mint tin, and the two share the pouch from then on. There is a faint gummy sweetness underneath that ties them together. Through the load the fruit stays in front with the mint cooling the edges, and it finishes cool, the watermelon going first.
