Nordic Spirit Frosty Mint 9mg is a fresh, icy peppermint from a JTI brand that was created in Sweden, launched there in 2018, in the UK since 2019, with the pouches now produced in Poland. The maker's word for 9mg is Strong, so the can says Frosty Mint Strong where our title just says 9mg. It belongs to the Moist range, the softer pouch with the quicker flavour release in the maker's words, and the newer Moist cans are a slimmer can. No messing about. It is peppermint, it is cold, and it gets on with it.
Peppermint that arrives icy and stays that way
Pop one in and the peppermint is out of the can before the lid is back on, sharp and cold like the first scrape of frost off a windscreen. Because it is a Moist pouch the flavour comes through quickly and fills the whole mouth early. It holds that icy line through the load rather than softening into sweetness, with just enough underneath to keep it smooth. The last pouch in the can tastes like the first. It finishes clean and cold and leaves the mouth fresh. Fair play to it.
