Pear is the flavour Pablo takes all the way up its ladder, and this is where the climb ends. Pablo Exclusive Pear is the pear from the Exclusive line, the 30mg line at the top of the Danish brand's range. There is a pear in the 6mg Edition, a pear in Silver, a pear in Gold, and then this one, so it is the most travelled flavour on the Pablo shelf. Here's the thing. The pear itself stays soft and sweet at every rung. What changes is the number underneath it, and here that number is as big as Pablo goes. No messing about.

Pop one in and it is ripe pear straight away, juicy and rounded, like the soft ones from the fruit bowl that are ready the day you buy them. There are no sharp edges in the flavour, no mint, no frost, just sweet pear that fills the load quickly and sits there. What you notice a little way in is the strength arriving under it, a warm push that the gentle flavour does nothing to hide. The pear holds steady to the last pouch and the finish is clean and sweet.
