Cherry Cola at SNU's Xtra High, the top of the shelf
Most people meet SNU Cherry Cola on the 9mg rung and work their way up. This is where the working up stops. SNU Cherry Cola 45mg is the cola can from the brand's Xtra High line, the fourth and last of its strengths, a long way above the 18mg High can beneath it. The purple band matches the lower rungs, but the lid tells a different story. It reads 60MG PER GRAM in the strength tab, six filled dots and an X, the words XTRA HIGH, and a red stamp reading XTRA STRONG USE RESPONSIBLY. No 45 anywhere. Here's the thing. SNU prints the strength per gram, and 60mg per gram works out at 45mg a pouch, the number on our shelf. Same cola, same purple band, a very different lid.
Warm cola, sweet cherry, and nothing lost at 45mg
The cola is the spiced sort, the kind that comes out of a glass bottle at the chippy with a bit of warmth to it, and it is the first thing on the gum. The cherry follows a beat later, sweet and rounded, and from then on the two run together to the end of the pouch. SNU builds the same flavour at every strength and only changes the number, so anyone from the lower rungs will know this taste. The finish is smooth with a trace of spice left behind, and the load holds from the first pouch to the twentieth. Proper cherry cola, with a great deal more behind it.
45mg a pouch, and the three SNU rungs below it
Every pouch carries 45mg of nicotine. That is our extreme band, the one that begins at 25mg, and it is the biggest number SNU makes. The brand's own ladder runs 9mg Low, 12mg Medium, 18mg High, then this Xtra High line at 45mg, and the jump from the third rung to the fourth is the biggest on the shelf. Cherry Cola is one of five flavours that climb all the way up, alongside Wild Cherry, Tropical Punch, Fizzy Energy and Black Ice. The pouches are slim, 20 to the can. Extreme snus for people who already know that is what they want.

Who climbs to Cherry Cola 45mg, and the cans either side
This is a can for the SNU regular who has lived on Cherry Cola 18mg for a while and wants the same drink with the big number underneath. It also suits strong snus users from other brands who want a soft drink flavour at an extreme strength rather than another mint. If 45mg sounds like more than you need, SNU Cherry Cola 18mg is the same drink on the rung below, which is where most regulars end up. Fancy the cherry on its own at the same number? SNU Wild Cherry 45mg is next to it on the shelf. Give it a go.
