Fizzy Energy at 18mg, the newest SNU flavour on the High rung
Every newsagent fridge has a row of tall cans with the lightning bolt on them, and SNU has put that taste in a pouch. Fizzy Energy is the newest flavour on the brand's list and this is the High can, 18mg a pouch, the third of SNU's four strengths. It is a white can, blue band, red lettering, with the name SNÜ and its two dots on the lid, FIZZY ENERGY in capitals beside a tab reading 18MG PER POUCH, six filled dots and the word HIGH under them. The scented patch at the top says rub here to smell the flavour. Here's the thing. It is a flavour, the taste of the drink and nothing more, and it comes in snus form at every SNU strength.
Sharp, sweet and sparkling, from the first pouch to the twentieth
Pop one in and the taste is the first mouthful of an energy drink straight from the fridge, sharp and sweet at the same time, with the tangy sparkle the brand is after. The sweetness is big but it keeps its snap, so it never flattens into syrup. There is a bright edge that runs underneath the whole pouch and keeps the flavour lively. It finishes clean, with the tang still going as the sweetness steps back. Proper fizzy drink, minus the fizz. Fair play to it, pouch twenty is as bright as pouch one.
18mg a pouch, High on the lid, and the Xtra High can above it
Every pouch carries 18mg of nicotine, which is our strong band, 16mg to 25mg. SNU's ladder has four rungs and this is the third: 9mg Low, 12mg Medium, 18mg High, then 45mg Xtra High, and Fizzy Energy is on our shelf at all four. Slim pouches, 20 to a can, same as every SNU. Strong snus with the taste of the tall can from the fridge.

Who picks the energy drink flavour at 18mg
This is for anyone who wants a soft drink flavour with a bit of sour snap and a strong number behind it. If you have been on SNU Fizzy Energy 12mg and want more from the pouch, this is the next rung, same taste, bigger number. It also suits strong snus users who like their fruit cans on the sharp side. Ready for the top? SNU Fizzy Energy 45mg is the Xtra High version. Want sharp without the sweetness at this strength? SNU Lemon & Lime 18mg is the citrus can on the same shelf. Give it a go.
