The green can is where Denssi Energy began
Straight up, Viking Energy is the original flavor in the Denssi Energy lineup, and the maker says so on the lid, where the tag reads original energy. Denssi is a Finnish brand, and these are its caffeine pouches, five flavors in one black can design with a Viking head emblem across the top. On this one the brand name comes in green. Sugar free, tobacco free. The name is about the flavor, not the number: it has the same 100mg as the other four.
Classic energy drink taste, no can to crack
Picture the energy drink in the gas station cooler, the one everybody knows. Sweet, a little tart, with that fizzy bright edge, and that is what this pouch tastes like from the start. It is the drink flavor by itself, no fruit layered on top. It stays steady the whole way through and finishes sweet and fizzy, the same way it opened. Real quick, if you know that drink, you know this can.
100mg a pouch, and why original does not mean stronger
Each pouch carries 100mg of caffeine. Our caffeine scale puts that in the strong band, which runs 80mg to 120mg. Light is under 40mg, medium is 40mg to 80mg, and extreme starts at 120mg. Every Denssi Energy flavor is 100mg, so being the original makes Viking Energy the first flavor, not the strongest one. Slim pouches in the black can with green lettering. Same number as the berry, cola, peach tea and tropical cans.

First can for new Denssi Energy people, and the next two
Viking Energy fits anyone who wants the energy drink taste as a caffeine pouch. It is also the natural first can if you are new to the lineup, since it is the flavor the range started with. Want cola? Chaos Cola is the sweeter, rounder can right beside it. Want fruit? Berry Beast brings mixed berries at the same 100mg. Bottom line, start with the green can and you're set.
