Lime Flame, the Velo pouch with jalapeño in the mix
Straight up, Lime Flame is the can people stop and read twice. It comes out of Velo Sensations, the lineup where each can pairs a flavor with a feeling on the gum, and it carries 8mg a pouch, which places it in the brand's Lower Strength group. The flavor is zesty lime with jalapeño. Flame is Velo's name for a warming sensation that runs beside the lime. It used to be sold as Fresh Jalapeño, so the pepper is no afterthought. Lime leads, warmth follows.
Lime first, then a slow green warmth
The lime hits first, bright and tart, like the wedge pushed into a cold bottle on game day. Then the jalapeño rolls in, a soft green warmth, not a blast of heat, and the two stay together for the whole pouch. It is a savory kind of fruit can, less sugary than a berry pouch, with a light tingle the maker credits to what it calls Sensates. The finish is zesty and dry. It is a flavor you keep thinking about after the pouch is done.
8mg in the Lower Strength group, and the Sensations ladder
Each pouch carries 8mg of nicotine. On our scale that is the low edge of medium, the band from 8mg up to 16mg, and at Velo it is the top of Lower Strength, the 4mg to 8mg lineup. Regular Strength is the 10mg line and Full Strength covers 14mg to 17mg above that. Lime Flame is the starting can of the Sensations family; the next two steps are Velo Mango Flame, 10mg, and Velo Orange Spark, 10.9mg. Slim white pouches, 20 per can. Bottom line, the number is easy and the flavor does the talking.

Who orders Lime Flame at the counter
This is the pouch for someone who picks the spicy option without reading the rest of the menu, who likes citrus with a little attitude. Already a fan of citrus nicotine pouches? This is the natural next try. The 8mg keeps things friendly, so the warmth is the headline, not the strength. Want that same warmth on something sweeter? Mango Flame, the 10mg can. Want a tingle instead of warmth? Orange Spark at 10.9mg. You're set.
