Black Cherry 9mg, the first cherry in the slim pouch
Real quick, Zyn Black Cherry 9mg is the step where the cherry changes format and changes band in one move. Below it, Black Cherry comes in the small dry Mini. Here it comes in the slim pouch, longer and moist, and 9mg puts it in our medium band. The taste stays exactly where it was. Dark cherry, rounded and smooth, with wild berries and vanilla underneath, the same recipe as every other cherry can on the shelf. What changes is the pouch size, the drip and the number. No tobacco leaf in the pouch. Same fruit, bigger pouch, bigger number.
Deep cherry with berries and vanilla, carried further
The first thing you get is black cherry, the deep kind from a jar of dark cherries in the pantry rather than the bright kind from a cherry soda. Behind the cherry sit wild berries, then a soft vanilla note to round out the finish. The slim pouch is moist, so it carries the flavor further than a dry Mini and gives a bit more drip, which suits a fruit this full. It stays smooth and rich from start to finish, with no sharp edges, and eases off slowly at the end. No surprises, just the same dark cherry with more pouch behind it.
9mg of nicotine, the third of four cherry steps
Every pouch holds 9mg of nicotine. On our scale that is medium, the band from 8 to 16mg. Zyn sorts its cans into three levels, a base from 1.5 to 3.5mg, a middle from 6 to 13.5mg, and a top at 16.5mg, and 9mg lands this can on the middle level. For Black Cherry it is step three of four: a 3mg Mini and a 6mg Mini sit below it, and one 11mg can sits over it in this same slim format. Uptake comes on quicker than a Mini and the curve rises sooner. Pouch format is the slim, the long moist one. Bottom line, a medium pouch for adults who want soft fruit with real weight under it.

Who moves the cherry up to 9mg
Black Cherry 9mg fits adults who came up through the 3mg and 6mg Minis and want a real step, and medium pouch regulars who prefer a rounded fruit to a mint. It is also the pick for anyone who likes a longer moist pouch better than a small dry Mini. If 9mg is your number, this is a good can to stay on. Want the same cherry with more behind it? Zyn Black Cherry 11mg is the last step, same pouch, bigger number. Want a fruit with some warmth at 9mg? Zyn Cactus Spice 9mg is right next to it. Grab a can and you're set.
