Straight up, Black Menthol 11mg is menthol and nothing else
Straight up, Zyn Black Menthol 11mg is the can for people who ask for menthol and mean only menthol. No fruit, no candy note, no spearmint riding along. It is a deep cold menthol carrying 11mg of nicotine, which lands it on the middle level of Zyn's three level lineup. Most Zyn cans with a chill in them pair it with a fruit or a second mint. This one skips the pairing and goes straight to the cold. No tobacco leaf in the pouch. If you want the cold and only the cold, this is your can.
A cold menthol that stays cold
Real quick, picture the first breath of air when you open the freezer door at the gas station for a bag of ice. That is the opening. The menthol spreads across your gum, cooling rather than sweet, and settles into a steady chill that runs the full length of the pouch. There is no fruit showing up late and no second flavor underneath, so the start and the finish taste the same. It fades clean at the end. No surprises, just a deep menthol doing one thing from beginning to end.
11mg of nicotine, middle of the Zyn lineup
Every pouch holds 11mg of nicotine. On our scale that is medium, the band from 8 to 16mg. Zyn runs three levels, a base from 1.5 to 3.5mg, a middle from 6 to 13.5mg, and a top at 16.5mg, and 11mg puts Black Menthol on the middle level alongside most of the brand's cans. Uptake comes on fast and the curve climbs early, which fits a flavor this direct. One level up, the 16.5mg Black Menthol carries this menthol to the top of the lineup and into our strong band. Bottom line, a medium pouch for adults who want menthol with no extras and a firm number behind it.

Who reaches for the plain menthol
Black Menthol 11mg fits adults who already use medium pouches and pick menthol every time, with no fruit getting in the way. It also suits anyone on a mint at this number who wants something colder and simpler. If 11mg is the right number, stay on it. Like your menthol with eucalyptus alongside? Zyn Menthol Ice 11mg sits right beside this can. More of a peppermint person? At 11mg the other cold option is Zyn Cool Mint. Ready for more? The 16.5mg Black Menthol brings this same chill with more number behind it. Grab a can and you're set.
