Gentle Mint 6mg, the quiet one on the Zyn mint shelf
Real quick, Zyn Gentle Mint 6mg is for adults who like mint but want it soft. Smooth, understated, in the long moist slim pouch, and 6mg, the top end of our light band. No tobacco leaf in the pouch, so the mint is quiet by design, not because anything else is in the way. Our shelf has one Gentle Mint, this one, with no ladder to climb, and nobody buying it is shopping for one. What they want is a mint that stays out of the way during a long shift.
A soft mint with a light cool and no edge
Picture a glass of ice water with a sprig of mint in it on the porch, fresh without being cold. That is the flavor. The mint comes in soft, the cooling is light and sits easy on your gum, and the moist slim pouch gets it going early and keeps it even for the whole pouch. No spike, no fade, just a calm mint that leaves things clean. Easy to enjoy, easy to forget it is there. No surprises.
6mg, light on our scale, and a mint with no rung above it
Every pouch holds 6mg of nicotine. On our scale that is light, 1 to 8mg, right at the top of the band. Zyn runs three levels, 1.5 to 3.5mg at the base, 6 to 13.5mg in the middle and 16.5mg on top, and this can is the first number on the middle level. With one Gentle Mint on the shelf, the way up means picking another Zyn mint. The pouch is long, slim and moist to the touch, which brings the uptake on a little sooner than a Mini, and the curve is as gentle as the name. Bottom line, a light pouch with a soft mint for adults who want calm.
