Black is where Cuba puts its flavours for people who already live at the extreme end of snus. The blackberry is one of the darkest fruits the brand does, which makes it a natural fit for the black can. Rich fruit, big number, nothing in the way.
Ripe blackberry, rich with a tart edge, pouch after pouch
The flavour is ripe blackberry, the rich, slightly tart kind you pick off the bramble at the end of August rather than the sweetened jam jar sort. It opens full and juicy, settles into a deep berry note through the middle of the load, and finishes with that tart edge still there. The Black line adds a dark undertone, and on a blackberry it reads as more fruit rather than something extra. No mint, no sugar coating. Fair play to it, it is a very grown up berry.
