Watermelon with a mint tail, in Fumi's little pouch
Ask what a summer can looks like when it has to fit in a shirt pocket and you get Fumi Watermelon Mint Mini. It comes from the Standard line, the Swedish brand's 4mg rung, and it is one of four flavours Fumi puts in its smaller mini pouch. Helix Sweden AB makes it in Sweden, and no tobacco leaf goes into the pouch. Watermelon up front, mint behind it, and all of it in a pouch smaller than the slim cans. Here's the thing: it is the only fruit and mint pairing among the minis, which gives it a lane of its own.
Juicy melon, then a clean mint lift, all the way down
The watermelon lands first, sweet and juicy, like the slice you get handed at a barbecue when the sun is finally out. Then the mint comes through behind it, a clean lift rather than a deep freeze, enough to keep the fruit fresh without taking over. The small pouch keeps both at a gentle level and holds them steady from the first pouch to the last in the can. It finishes cool and clean, the watermelon fading last. Proper summer in a tin.
4mg in a mini, with watermelon mint at 4mg and 8mg in the slim above
Each pouch carries 4mg of nicotine, which puts it in our light band, 1mg to 8mg. Fumi's ladder runs Standard at 4mg, Strong at 8mg, and Extra Strong at 11mg and 15mg, with the top line kept for the brand's two straight mints. Watermelon Mint Mini sits on the bottom rung in the small white pouch, 20 to a can. The same flavour comes in the slim pouch as Fumi Watermelon Mint at 4mg and again at 8mg, so there is a bigger pouch and a bigger number waiting when you want either. In snus terms, this is the quiet way in.

Who carries the watermelon mini, and the slim cans next door
This is a can for the fruit and mint snus user who wants something they can use in a meeting, on a train or at the dinner table without anyone clocking it. It also suits the newcomer who wants a light number and a small pouch while they find their feet. When you want the bigger pouch, Fumi Watermelon Mint 4mg is the slim version, and Fumi Watermelon Mint 8mg brings the Strong line number. For a plain fruit in the same mini pouch, Fumi Strawberry Mini 4mg sits right beside it. Give it a go.
