The maker says it came near the top of a 2024 survey of flavour requests on its own site, and it now sits in Helwit's Standard line, the brand's 3.5mg rung, with Nicotine 2/4 on the lid. The maker is YOIK AB, a Swedish company with its own plant at Gransholm in Småland, outside Växjö, and every can carries Made in Sweden down the side. A pink ringed lid, a two part flavour, and a gentle number behind it. Proper interesting.
Sweet raspberry over a deep liquorice note
The maker describes it as sweet raspberry freshness meeting a deep, rich liquorice note, and that is the order it arrives in. The raspberry lands first, sweet with a little tartness at the edge, like the jam side of a pick and mix bag. Then the liquorice comes up underneath it, dark and rounded, and the two settle together for the rest of the load. Neither one takes over. The finish leans towards the liquorice, soft rather than sharp, and it stays even from the first pouch to the last. Fair play to it.
